Who We Are

Church of the Covenant is a PCUSA congregation serving the northern edge of Anniston for over 50 years. We were formed as a spiritual center by visionary folks who wanted to share the the gospel good news of Jesus and God’s love with the world.

Today we joyfully continue this vision centered in Sunday worship while offering ongoing Bible studies, spiritual formation, missional outreach, and fellowship opportunities.

We are nourished as we follow the way of Jesus in sacramental life gathering around the Font and Table.

As a community centered in the Reformed faith tradition (perhaps a link here?) we acknowledge the brokenness of the world and yet find life giving renewal in the unending grace of God.

Our worship is grounded in God’s word and we cherish the gift of music to lift and direct our spirit.

God’s call on our lives allows us to share our gifts of time, talent and treasure with generosity as we are called to be partners in the Kin-dom work proclaimed by Christ.

Church of the Covenant is a Matthew 25 (link?) congregation which orients our efforts towards congregational vitality, dismantling structural racism, and eradicating systemic poverty.
